I can perfectly understand you guys, this is where companies like newegg and large retailers's connections pay off I believe, I work for Frys even they might get some this week and still for $299

you guys are good though so keep up it. I believe newegg probably ate up the first wave, and looking at their websire they don't have the visiontek yet means they are probably not that good with visiontek people. it was the same with hd 4850, although frys and best buy mostly deal with visiontek so that is why visiontek might be hooking them up.

I wanted to thank Mike the warehouse guy for going above and beyond to help me out today. I had pre-ordered on the 30th and noticed today that the ETA for fulfillment jumped from 7/2 to 7/7. Mike asked for my order number, and when I let him know that a confirmation email had not been sent out, he made the necessary communications with others in the company to have the cards shipped over-night (I had 2 day on my order.)
This sets the bar for customer service - something that you don't get at the Fry's and the Best Buys.

Hey guys, thanks for offering this card at a lower price than newegg and everyone else. I bought a 4850 from bb but returned 3 times, saw your website and many positive reviews and figured... wth might as well order one. I am a happy new owner.
FX, roughly how long until the card leaves for warehouse? I live in oregon and selected regular shipping.

Best value card on the market right now, & most powerful in its class. Beats nVidia GTX like a red-headed step-child. Keeps it close, sometimes better than the 260 series. Look out 280's, the 4870 X2 with 2GB of memory will be king of the hill in August.....
Only downside is heat, which is easily fixed by manually adjusting speed. This kept this card from a perfect score...

My pc has PCI express 2.0 x 16 and it was bought in a PAL region can anyone tell me if this card work with one from a NTSC region? or is it only PCIe that matters?
